Milk Barfi

These Milk Barfi’s are the best you can make at home, as simple as a boxed mix, but so much better. They are perfectly fudgy, chewy and milky! They’ve got the perfect crunchy edges with the light crisp and smooth crust on top that you know you love. They’re chewy, gooey, rich, sweet, and seriously delicious! Let me jump in to the recipe without teasing your tastebuds more!


Ingredients

2 cups Milk Powder

1 cup Milk

1 cup Sugar

5 Tbsp Ghee or butter

How do you make this super easy treat?


Method


Heat butter or ghee in a pan and melt it on low flame Add milk and milk powder and mix well. Cook it until it is well blended. Add sugar and stir continuously. Mash and cook until it becomes smooth in consistency. Ensure that there are no lumps. Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts. (optional) When the mixture is thick, remove from the heat and pour it on a greased plate. Spread it evenly with the help of the back of the greased spoon. Allow it to set. I like to sprinkle a couple extra chopped nuts on top to make this delicacy look extra pretty.
