Assalammu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,

Here’s to the fourth edition of our magazine “ The Soul Journal” Alhamdulillah! With the help of the Almighty and the perseverance of our team we have been able to pull off this issue with a very timely theme “ Respect”

In today’s world people are constantly anxious, irritated and annoyed and have no respect for one another. Well, that seems to be the way of life for most people these days. We've all become tech zombies thanks to phones and social media. And it's even shortened our attention spans to less than that of a fish!

One of the most important virtues a child can have is respect. Being respectful of others and their values and beliefs can ensure that they develop positive relationships with their family, friends, and those in their communities throughout their life. Spreading knowledge and understanding the importance of respect has become a key component nowadays hence the little attempt we try to deliver through our magazine.

Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even when they're different from you or you don't agree with them. Respect in your relationships builds feelings of trust, safety, and wellbeing. Respect doesn't have to come naturally – it is something you learn.

Perfection is a myth! What one needs in one’s life to be successful is discipline and respect.

All I’m trying to say here is striving for perfection will only lead to doom. Take life with a pinch of salt and find balance through respect.

Don’t let the search for a happy tomorrow get in the way of living a happy life! On that note let’s move on to our well balanced issue with stories inspiring articles and fun stuff!!

Here’s to a chilly winter….
